About koexam

Unofficial practice

koexam is free, unofficial practice for people living in Korea who are preparing for Korean tests. It is not affiliated with the National Institute for International Education (NIIED, which runs TOPIK) or the Ministry of Justice (which runs the Social Integration Program, KIIP). TOPIK and KIIP are names of the official tests; we use them only to describe what our practice sets prepare for.

Estimated levels and stages are references calculated from our own questions. They are not official results.

How the questions are written

Every passage, question, choice and explanation is written by koexam. We follow only the public format of each test (number of questions, time and score scale). We do not copy, translate or adapt official past papers or textbooks.

Each set is checked by a quality script: one correct answer, balanced answer positions and choice lengths, no repeated passages, and no banned claims such as "official" or "guaranteed pass". If you find a mistake, please email us.
